Antique Chinese Porcelain Bowl Decorated with Thousand Butterflies Republic Antique Chinese porcelain bowl nicely decorated in bright enamels, with butterfly decoration. Made in China in the early 1900's, circa 1920-30's during the Republic Period. The Made in China mark starts in 1921, and this is an early example. About 8 3/8 in diameter. The total weigh is about 319 grams in weight. Excellent condition as shown - no chips, no cracks and no repairs. Bit of a wave in the rim, typical of hand turned bowls of this type and period.
