Antique Chinese Spinach Jade Turned and Carved Tea Bowl

Description

This remarkable turned and carved Chinese spinach jade bowl is difficult to date.  I think it dates to at least the middle of the last century.  It has a gorgeous mottled green and translucent coloring.  It is 3 7/8" in diameter at the lip and is 1 1/2" diameter at the foot.  It has a tiny chip in the rim and what might be a tight well repaired crack or flaw in the stone that runs from the lip down across the the inside of the foot.
