    Description

This sale is for a Matching Pair of Two Antique Chinese Hand-Painted Blue & White
    Qing Dynasty
    Porcelain
    Plates.
These white porcelain hand thrown saucers are painted with a Cobalt Blue Underglaze.
The plates are 5 5/8" in diameter and about 7/8" tall.
Both have double blue lines on the rim as well as on the underside of the rim and the foot ring.
On one plate the double blue lines on the rim edge are barely perceptible.
The foot ring is unglazed but the base is glazed.
There is an underglaze mark in blue on the base.
There is a stylized Peony Flower pattern in the center surrounded by three additional stylized Peony flowers.
Each flower is separated by arched stems with narrow scroll-like flowers.
Underneath these arches are three cloud scrolls with smaller florals.
From the best I can tell, these plates are dated from the Late 18th century – Early 19th century Qing dynasty.
Please do your own research as I am not an expert.
These plates are in good antique condition with flaws to be expected from a handmade object but no chips or cracks AS SHOWN.
Please look at all of the photos as they are the best description and ask any questions BEFORE purchasing.
We will be glad to send more photos upon request.
    THANK YOU for your consideration.
