Reproduction Impressive Brass Rimmed Rose Medallion Bowl 11"
This bowl is a very impressive old reproduction in Rose Medallion. The brass settings are wonderful with excellent attention to detail. According to a Chinese antiques dealer who saw the piece, it is a reproduction, albeit a good one, as the circle at the bottom of the bowl is a bit too perfect to be hand-drawn.  Instead, the bowl was stamped, and then touched up by hand to improve some of the details. Still, the estimate received was about 0.
Some minor wear to the brass fittings, but no observable cracks or chips to the bowl.
The brass base is about 6.5 inches square, with some cutouts. There is a 1 inch rim on the top of the bowl. The total height of the piece including the 1 inch brass rim is approximately 11 inches, and the diameter of the bowl and rim is 12 inches.
A lovely piece deserving of display.
Shipping the piece will be an extensive process that will be carried out with professional packing materials and sturdy packaging. Signature will be required and the piece will be insured for the full sale value.
